Bloggy Giveaway: 10 Free Shave Gels Anyone?

(A small portion of my shave gel stockpile.)

I've been able to stockpile quite a nice cache of both Edge and Skintimate Shaving Gel for my husband and myself. Who knows? It might even last until my 10-year old starts shaving!

I was able to obtain all this nice shave gel thanks to a treasure trove of Target coupons for $1.50 off one Edge or Skitimate. Stack these with the many manufacturer coupons. (They've been out for $1/1 and 75c/1) and you have $2.25 or $2.50 off one canister of shave gel.

I'm happy to be able to offer these Target $1.50/1 coupons to some of my wonderful readers. (Thank you for all your encouragement.) Best part is that these coupons do not expire until March 2010! You have plenty of time to redeem them. For those of you who shop at Publix, some Publix stores will accept Target coupons as competitor coupons, and you can use them there, too!!

I'd like to give away envelopes of 10 coupons each to three of my readers. Please leave a comment and a tip on going green, cooking, or frugal living. Also, don't forget to include your email. I'll pick the winners on Saturday morning at 8:00 am Eastern Time.

I'd love to hear from you!!

Blessings.

  1. Hi, Margery! This tip may seem obvious to everyone, but here goes: Even though we have central air conditioning, we use an inexpensive box fan in our TV room during the summer months. It allows us to keep the thermostat a few degrees warmer and thus run the AC less. We have been really surprised how much cooler the room is with the fan on low and how much less we need the AC.

  2. What a sweet thing for you to do. I love all your tips. I think my biggest tip is to use ebates when buying things online - even ebay you can get through ebates. You get a check once a quarter with all you savesd. I buy a lot of things on ebay for a disocunt like coffee pods and vaccuum bags so the extra discount is great!

  4. Going green for our family was to simple buy 3 huge bucket thing's from Walmart. We have them lines up in the garage and just short out paper, plastic and cardboard. Its really easy once you get the hang of it and with as much shopping as I do it fills up fast.

  6. My tip is to recycle as much as you can. I recycle all of the cardboard we use, which is a lot, because everything is packaged in cardboard.

  7. HI :) My tip is to turn off electric when not using it - but to take it a step further use power strips and litereally turn off all juice to a room when leaving. We do this and we have saved almost 30 every 2 months on our electric bill!! :) Thanks

  8. MY frugal tip is to not use your Deyer, I hang almost all of my clothes up on the line or from hangers and have them dry on the porch. It saves so much money, not so much time but its all worth is for $$ in our pocket. THanks for an awsome giveaway!!
    Thanks,

  9. Tip: find ways to use what you already have. I wanted to desperately organize my coupons, but didn't want to spend the money. I used what i had to make my own organizer and love it. Another tip is to keep only a few papers your kids bring home. Scan everything else and keep in dated files on your computer. Be sure and back up. Thanks for a chance at the shave gel. Love the blog. 11. Hi, Margery! Do you know whether or not we can edit a comment before we "approve" it? If so, I was thinking you might want to take everyone's email address out of the comments. I'm new to all this, so I don't really know.

  13. Hey- I LOVE reading this blog- it continues to inspire me each week! I save my dryer "bounce" sheets after each load, and when I have 3, I find it gives the same fresh scent and prevents static cling as using a new one. Every 4th load I use the old 3 and then start over with a new one on the next load. Litttle bits make a difference! Jessica P.

  14. Hi Margery, enjoy reading your website and seeing your savings. My tip would be to go through your house once a week/month and declutter. I start a donate, throw away or recycle pile, so I can keep the house easy to clean. Thanks!

  15. My frugal tip is reusing the sandwich/snack bags. I used to see my grandmother do this and was like "why don't you just by new ones?" I didn't start doing it until my son started school and realized how many bags he went through! So i wash them out and let them dry and use them again! Thank you for the chance at your giveaway!
