Free Books for Georgia Children

Do you live in Georgia, and do you have a child under age 5?

If so, you may be able to receive hardback books for your child, every month, for absolutely no cost, mailed to your home!

Check out The Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy.   There is a listing of eligible counties, and easy instructions on how to sign up.  Below are some of the wonderful books my daughter has received since enrolling in the program.

  1. Hey Margery! Love the site! But I couldn't get the Ferst Foundation link to work. I typed it in and got there, but couldn't from the link. Just wanted you to know.

  2. Bummer! Gwinnett County is NOT a participating county. Elijah would love the books. Oh well.

  3. Hi Stacey,
I fixed the link. It should be working now. Thanks for letting me know. We live in Forsyth. I'm sorry Gwinett isn't participating. Tell all your Forsyth friends, though!
