Publix Trip 6/29 - Saved 71% (Lots of Frees)

I ran completely out of contact supplies today, and needed milk, so I went to Publix. There were lots more free or cheap items to pick up. I bought $50 worth of groceries for $14.68 plus tax.

FREES & Cheaps

Publix Apple Juice, Penny item, 1c

Raid Spray, $3.89 - $2 Publix Q from "Smart Summertime Savings" booklet at Publix - $2 MQ from the last Advantage Buy Flyer = FREE plus overage

2 Ziplock Bags (snack size and XL sandwich), $1.99 each -$1 Target Q - $1 MQ from "Smart Summertime Savings" =FREE (I will repeat this deal several times this month!)

2 Edge Shave Gels, $2.13 regular price each - $1.50/1 Target Q - $1/1 MQ Printable = FREE + overage. I found these Target Qs on a display at my gym.

2 Reach Floss, $1.49 - $1 Publix Q from "SSS Booklet" - $1 Reach Q from Sunday inserts = FREE plus overage

2 jars Mt. Olive Pickles, $1.40 each - 50c Qs from yesterday's paper = 40 c each

Motrin, $3.89 regular price - $2 Publix Q from SSS booklet - $1 MQ from Sunday inserts = 89c

I also used a $5/$25 purchase from Rite-Aid (which expires on 6/30!)

Mostly I needed to pick up some essentials, so I probably will not be back to Publix this week. I hope you can use some of these ideas!

  2. Hi Florida Coupon Lover,
Thanks for stopping by. It's funny, the last time the Sara Lee pies went on sale BOGO, I excitedly bought some thinking my family, esp. kids, would go ga-ga over them, but they didn't like them, and I even ended up throwing them out!! I couldn't believe it! I think they are so used to homemade and healthier desserts.

Thanks for the Edy's tip. I may do a Target run later this week!

    Blessings.

  3. I make alot of homemade desserts, but have never attempted homemade apple pie, so .67¢ pies makes for a happy hubby.

I have tried a few things while couponing and learned we just did not like, such as Soy Joy bars. Yuck!

My Publix is taking Target Q's again yay.

So glad to hear that you can use Target Qs now at your Publix. Using Target Qs at Publix has helped to pump up my savings.
